Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival – Thimphu (54km, 01 hour)

Upon arrival at Paro Airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. En route, visit the historic Tachogang Temple and its iconic iron suspension bridge, followed by a stop at the Chuzom River Confluence. Continue to the Takin Preserve Park, home to Bhutan’s national animal, and enjoy panoramic views from Sangaygang Viewpoint. Later, explore the impressive Tashichho Dzong, built in 1641 along the Wang Chhu riverside. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 2

Dochu-La Pass Excursion & Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed on an excursion to the scenic Dochu-La Pass (3,088 meters), offering breathtaking Himalayan views on clear days. Visit the Druk Wangyal Chorten and enjoy short nature walks in the area. After lunch, return to Thimphu and continue sightseeing with a visit to the majestic Buddha Dordenma Statue, the interactive Simply Bhutan Living Museum, and the traditional Bhutanese craft street. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3

Thimphu – Paro Sightseeing (54 km | 1 hour)

Following breakfast, drive from Thimphu to Paro with sightseeing along the way. Visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in Bhutan, followed by the Airport Bird’s Eye Viewpoint and riverside area. Explore the National Museum (Ta-Dzong) and the historic Paro Dzong, built in 1646. Later, stop at the Tiger’s Nest base point. Overnight stay in Paro.

Optional: Guests may choose a full Tiger’s Nest hike, followed by a visit to Paro Dzong, with an overnight stay in Paro.

Day 4

Departure

After an early packed breakfast, transfer to Paro Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable Bhutan journey.

If any traveler is stopped by Immigration and unable to travel, the entire package cost will be non-refundable, as cancellations or refunds are not possible at the last moment.
Immigration formalities must be completed individually by each traveler. Approval or refusal to travel rests solely with Immigration authorities, and Discover Holidays Ltd. holds no liability in this regard.
Visa fees and processing charges are strictly non-refundable once applied. Visa approval or rejection is entirely at the discretion of the concerned Embassy.
The quoted rates exclude any Government VAT, TAX, or AIT.
Discover Holidays Ltd. shall not be held responsible for any loss, delay, or additional expenses incurred due to political unrest, strikes, natural disasters, or health pandemics.
The package price is based on the current exchange rate. Any major fluctuation in exchange rates may affect the final cost.
Once the official work order is submitted and full packages confirmed if any group member cancels, the full quoted price for the canceled member(s) must be borne by the group.
If the number of travelers increases or decreases, the price will be subject to change.
An official work order is mandatory to confirm the package booking. After submission of the work order, no cancellation (individual or group) will be accepted. The exact group size must be clearly mentioned in the work order.
Land package cancellation within 15 days of departure will incur 100% charges.
Once tickets are issued, date change/cancellation/refund charges will apply as per respective airline rules and regulations.

Special Note: Extra activities like: Traditional attire experience (Paro), and Traditional hot stone bath (Paro) will be directly arranged with the assistance of a tour guide, upon the visitor's interest.
